The weather started out so nice, a bit chilly but refreshing and bright. The crew piled into the work vehicles and headed out for another adventure in relocation. We never know what a day will bring. What will the kitchen be like? How many boxes? When is lunch, lol?
Todays location, John Knox Village in Orange City, FL. A very lovely location nestled in the heart of Southwest Deland, FL. It is a laid back, sprawling retirement center surrounded by nature and verdant greenery. Today, we were in for a special treat though....
As we came up to the door to greet the client, one of the female crew members gasped in awe. We all looked over and there within arms distance were two sand hill cranes accompanied by two baby chicks. The baby chicks down was still fluffy and looked newly hatched. The adult cranes were quietly digging at the base of a tree for grubs an worms.
We watched in awe. Sharing this Audubon moment. Enjoy!
