Over the years, Interiors for Seniors has had the privilege of relocating many residents to Cascade Heights, a great retirement community located at 160 Islander Court, Longwood, FL 32750. Set in the heart of Central Florida, their mission statement is that though “individual attention is our specialty, fulfilled living is our signature.”Further, they state, “Helping you continue the life you love while maintaining your optimal independence is our number one priority.” They also state that “Caring team members take the time to understand your preferences and get to know you personally.”

Cascade Height’s 15-acre community, which is near Altamonte Springs and Sanford, Florida, offers “beautifully manicured grounds and courtyards” together with a variety of services and amenities.” They have a fireside living room for those cozy cold days when you just want to curl up and read or “surf the net” and walking paths for a beautiful day’s stroll. Among their other amenities is a standard cable included for all, a garden and greenhouse on the premises, and loads of cultural and educational events. For those of you musically inclined, a piano is provided in the main room. Also, for your convenience, there is a general store on the property.

Other services and amenities included: restaurant-style dining; one and two bedroom floor plans with balconies, patios and carports; and yes, they allow small pets.

I was able to obtain some information on reviews of Cascade Heights at Here are few of the reviews given:

“found to be … reasonably priced. My husband and I are in assisted living. I like the food and it's very delicious. I'm happy here. We have a two-bedroom suite with a little kitchenette, pantry, living room and dining room combined, and a suite on either side with a shower. They come in and clean your room. They take people to churches, malls, grocery stores, and outings. They're very accommodating to everybody's needs.”

“The food and entertainment were good. It had an outside swimming pool exercise classes twice a week, and a big game room.”

“They always have something to do like water exercises, Bingo, and three different church groups that come in every week.”

“They're very accommodating to everybody's needs.”

“They had plenty of activities laid out on the calendar for each month like art classes, games, swimming, and exercise programs. There's a beauty salon and transportation.”
